Trident Maple Bonsai

Trident Maples are one of the absolute best Maples to Bonsai. They have strong root growth, easy to repot and tolerates pruning very well. Trident maple bonsai do not have excessive water requirements. Wintering is also easy making them a great beginner tree.

Hardy Bonsai material needs to be wintered over in a protected cold spot so that they can go through their natural dormancy period.  Inside an unheated garage, cold frame, or bury in the ground with good insulation for the roots.
