Oreocereus celsianus
Old man of the Andes cactus

White woolly hairs surround upright, ribbed stems and contrasting spines, giving this cactus its old-man-of-the-Andes name. It slowly forms a clump and can eventually become tall. Mature plants may flower in summer, but a small indoor specimen is grown mainly for its textured stems.
