Juniperus virginiana 'Brodie'
Brodie eastern red cedar
Also known as: Juniperus virginiana Brodie

Brodie is a narrow, upright eastern red cedar with dark green, scale-like foliage and a tidy pyramidal outline. Its dense evergreen branching makes a useful screen or vertical accent. This female selection bears blue berry-like cones attractive to songbirds, and established plants tolerate drought and poor soils. Allow room for a sizable tree despite its slender young appearance.
