Shrubs
Tsuga diversifolia
Northern Japanese hemlock

Short glossy green needles have contrasting pale bands underneath, giving the branches a fine texture. Young trees are narrow and dense, becoming more open and rounded with age. Despite its nursery department, this species ultimately becomes a tree rather than a small shrub.
