Shrubs
Fothergilla gardenii
Dwarf fothergilla

Honey-scented white bottlebrush flowers appear before the leaves in spring. Blue-green foliage then provides summer texture before turning vivid yellow, orange and red in fall. This slow-growing native shrub may gradually form a colony if root suckers remain.
