Hesperocyparis macrocarpa 'Goldcrest'

Lemon cypress

Lemon cypress. Representative plant

Bright yellow evergreen foliage forms an informal column and releases a lemon scent when crushed. Often grown in containers, it adds strong color among greener plants. This is not a reliably hardy outdoor shrub throughout the Cincinnati area and needs winter protection.
