Grasses
Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Hameln'
Hameln dwarf fountain grass

Arching, fine-textured foliage forms a rounded fountain topped by soft, creamy bottlebrush plumes in midsummer. The compact habit works in sunny borders, mass plantings and large containers. Seed heads and golden-tan foliage extend the display into fall; avoid planting where water collects around the crown.
