Schizachyrium scoparium 'Standing Ovation'
Standing Ovation little bluestem

Upright blue-green blades develop red tips through summer, then deepen to burgundy in fall. Pale, fluffy seed heads remain attractive after the foliage fades. This selected form of native little bluestem holds its shape especially well in a sunny border or prairie-style planting, even in richer soil.
