Grasses
Miscanthus sinensis 'Oktoberfest'
Oktoberfest maiden grass

Broad green leaves with pale midribs form an upright accent, then gain red and purple autumn tones. Copper-burgundy plumes appear earlier than on many older maiden grasses and mature to fluffy tan. Give this tall selection room at the back of a border or use it as a seasonal screen.
