Carex siderosticta 'Banana Boat'
Banana Boat broadleaf sedge
Broad golden leaves edged and striped with green create a low, bright patch in shaded beds. This deciduous sedge spreads into a leafy groundcover, contrasting well with ferns and fine-textured plants. Give it fertile, moist soil and protect it from hot sun; remove shoots that revert to plain green.
