Fruit & harvest
- Harvest
- Spring leaf stalks after establishment
- Pollination
- No pollination partner is needed for the stalk crop. Remove flower stalks so growth goes into the edible leaf stalks.
Growing & care
- Care & pruning
- Give each crown ample space and mulch. Harvest stalks by pulling rather than cutting; allow young plants to establish before substantial harvest.
