Fruits
Ficus carica 'PT-DF-14'
Fignomenal fig

Fruit & harvest
- Pollination
- Self-fruitful; does not need a second fig for fruit.
Growing & care
- Care & pruning
- Grow in a large draining container in full sun. Protect the container and roots in winter and prune damaged wood in spring. Wear gloves if sensitive to fig sap.
- Harvest
- Pick soft, fully ripe figs that droop on their stems. Color changes vary by cultivar; firm green fruit will not ripen properly after picking.
- Winter
- Use a protected site and mulch the root zone. Overwinter container-grown figs indoors.
