Meet our bonsai
Cryptomeria japonica 'Yoshino'
Yoshino Japanese cedar
Also known as Yoshino cryptomeria.
Yoshino Japanese cedar carries dense, short needles along its branches, creating a soft, finely textured appearance. Green to blue green foliage and reddish brown peeling bark provide interest in both canopy and trunk.
Some winter bronzing is possible, although Yoshino generally retains its green color better than the plain species. Its evergreen foliage offers a different texture from pine or juniper bonsai.
