Meet our bonsai
Comptonia peregrina
Sweetfern
Sweetfern is a woody deciduous shrub, not a true fern. Its aromatic, deeply cut leaves create a fernlike outline, offering a distinctly different foliage texture for a bonsai collection; the slender leafy shoots give the plant a relaxed, natural appearance.
