Meet our bonsai
Zelkova serrata
Japanese zelkova
Japanese zelkova has toothed leaves and a branching canopy that creates a tree like silhouette in miniature. Its deciduous foliage makes the branch structure part of the seasonal display.
Although related to elms, Zelkova serrata is distinct from the Chinese elm, Ulmus parvifolia, which has its own page in our collection.
