Carpinus
Hornbeam
Hornbeams are beloved in the bonsai world. They have delineating vascular lines that carry through the tree’s smooth, creamy white bark. They have rugged cracks in the aged trunk, fantastic angular branching, small leaves and fantastic fall colors. The two main types of Hornbeam that we carry are the Korean Hornbeam and Japanese Hornbeam.
