Ficus burtt-davyi
Burtt Davy’s fig
Also known as Scrambling fig, Veld fig.
Burtt Davy’s fig has glossy oval leaves and smooth, silvery gray bark. In its native southern Africa it can grow as a scrambling shrub, a small tree or a plant rooted among rocks, giving the species an adaptable character.
Its foliage, bark and root development make it a recognized bonsai subject. It is distinct from the other ficus in our selection, with its own leaf shape and growth habit.
