Meet our bonsai
Malpighia emarginata
Barbados cherry
Also known as Acerola, West Indian cherry.
Barbados cherry combines green leaves with delicate pink to lavender flowers. When fruit develops, it ripens to bright red and resembles a small cherry.
This tropical shrub offers foliage, flowers and fruit on the same bonsai. It is a different species from Singapore holly, with broader leaves and a softer outline.
